Patch → project → fuse → ground. Dual-encoder (CLIP/SigLIP, InfoNCE) or fusion-encoder (BLIP-2 Q-Former, LLaVA MLP, Flamingo gated xattn). This host fuses late: Sobel and hash-ngram. We do not load those weights. A caption without goldens is a hold.
Authors never grade themselves. Isolation is probed, not assumed. Enterprise never /login. ARR_CLAIMED=false. Compare the axes on /compare.
